In short: BlueOcean Skin gives you educational skincare guidance personalized to what you share with us. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for a doctor or dermatologist. If you’re pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or have a diagnosed skin condition, check with your healthcare provider before changing your routine. If a product causes a reaction, stop using it — and get medical care if the reaction is severe.

Educational guidance, not medical advice

BlueOcean Skin provides personalized skincare information based on what you tell us and, if you choose, photos you share. It is for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

About medications

We may ask what medications or supplements you take so we can avoid obvious conflicts and tailor suggestions to your skin. This is personalization, not a clinical drug-interaction check. Always confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before combining skincare actives with prescription treatments.

Your results will vary

Skin responds differently from person to person, and hormonal changes around perimenopause and menopause can affect how your skin reacts. Introduce new products gradually and patch-test before full use.

On photos and AI

If you use the photo feature, our system may misread or misidentify a product. Always check the actual label and ingredient list yourself before using anything.

When to seek care

Stop using any product that causes irritation, and seek prompt medical attention for a severe reaction (spreading rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, or anything that alarms you). BlueOcean Skin is not for medical emergencies.

By using BlueOcean Skin, you acknowledge you’ve read and understood this disclaimer.
